Panthers bring CU’s tough week to an end

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Kentucky Wesleyan handed the Yellow Jackets their most lopsided loss of the season with a 86-50 G-MAC romp at the Owensboro Sportscenter.

Cedarville, who began the week with a three-game lead in the standings, dropped its third straight outing in six days.

Jayvon Maughmer scored 11 points and Grant Whisman added 10 for the Jackets, 16-8 overall and 10-4 G-MAC.

The Panthers had control of the game from the outset exploding to a 45-19 lead by halftime.

The onslaught continued in the second period with KWC leading by as many 40 on two occasions.
