JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman swept Cedarville by scores of 3-1 and 7-3 in a non-conference twinbill at Silver Diamond.
The host Eagles rallied from a 3-0 deficit in the seven-inning nightcap which was highlighted by a five-run sixth.
Alex Neff recorded two hits including his second solo home run of the day and scored twice.
Boston Torres had the other run for the Yellow Jackets, 0-5.
Offense was at a premium in the nine-inning opener with the two sides combining for ten hits total.
