DAYTON, Ohio - The Lady Jackets continued the 2023-24 campaign by shutting down Shawnee State, 7-0, in their first indoor match at the Five Seasons Family Sports Club.
Cedarville, 6-2, has won five of its last six outings.
The hosts dropped just two games combined in the three doubles matches.
The pairings were No. 1
Diana Ivanikhina and
Abby Totten, No. 2
Calista Bobula and
Faith Monson, and No. 3
Delia Guzic and
Susannah Prince.
The Jackets claimed all six singles points with Ivanikhina, Totten, Guzic, Bobula, Prince, and Monson forming the lineup.
No. 2 Totten endured a three-set marathon to win, 6-4, 6-7 (4-7), 1-0 (12-10).
