MIDLAND, Mich. - Cedarville's offense came out firing on all cylinders in rolling to a 93-63 victory at Northwood.
The Yellow Jackets, 16-5 overall and 10-1 G-MAC, won for the ninth straight time and extended their conference lead to three games.
Grant Whisman buried four three-pointers and scored 18 points to lead four players in double figures.
Jayvon Maughmer and
Tymoteusz Pszczola tallied 17 points apiece and
Anthony Ruffolo had 13.
Jacob Drees hauled in a game-high 11 rebounds - his ninth straight contest with at least ten.
Cedarville sprinted to a 10-1 lead and hit 11 triples for a 54-29 halftime bulge.
The difference was as much as 85-50 with 7:50 remaining.
STINGER NOTES:
- All 13 players saw action and no starter logged more than 20 minutes of time.
- David Okpara grabbed a career-high eight rebounds.
- CU's 15 three-pointers was the fourth time to make at least 15 this winter.
- The Jackets controlled the boards, 46-30.
- The eight turnovers marks the fourth consecutive game in single digits.
- It's the only regular season meeting between the two schools.
- Cedarville leads the all-time series vs. Northwood, 5-3.
