NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca got off to a quick start and went on to outscore the Lady Jackets, 80-53, in a G-MAC matchup at the Trojan Fieldhouse.

Brianna Zajicek totaled 18 points and seven rebounds to equal her career-highs in both categories.

KaCee Kyle added 15 points for Cedarville, 5-15 overall and 3-10 G-MAC.

Leah Butterbaugh scored nine points and Kat Weakley pulled down a career-high 11 rebounds.

The Trojans put 28 points on the board in the first quarter and held a 47-27 advantage by halftime.

STINGER NOTES:

• Zajicek scored 18 points two games ago against Thomas More. She had seven rebounds twice previously.
• Butterbaugh led the team with three assists.
• CU outrebounded the Trojans, 49-42, with 20 offensive rebounds.
• The Jackets converted 11-of-13 free throws.
• The two teams meet again in the Callan Athletic Center on February 24.
