XENIA, Ohio - Cedarville totaled 26 hits featuring four home runs as they split a non-conference doubleheader with Lewis at the Athletes in Action Sports Complex.
The Yellow Jackets won the opener, 14-6, with the visiting Flyers hanging on for a 5-4 victory in the series finale.
Both games were nine-inning contests.
In the first game,
Brendan Colley's two-run homer put Cedarville on top to stay, 4-2, in the third inning.
Max Doepker added a three-run bomb and
Kale Ebling tacked on a two-run shot.
Seven different players recorded two hits apiece with Colley, Doepker, and
Lucas Rotello all driving in three runs each.
Winning pitcher
Luke Swanger, 1-2, tossed the final 4 1/3 innings allowing one earned run with three strikeouts.
Trailing 5-0 in the nightcap, CU scored all four of its runs in the sixth inning beginning with a solo home run by
Riley Finkelston.
Torres doubled in two runs and Rotello had an RBI single for the Jackets, 3-9 overall.
