NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Cedarville's offense hit the wall in a 76-60 loss at Walsh to finish the regular season.
The Yellow Jackets, 19-11 overall, tied Hillsdale for third place in the G-MAC with a 13-7 mark.
Jayvon Maughmer scored 24 points as the only CU player in double figures.
The Cavaliers opened up a 33-23 halftime lead after the visitors made just 3-of-20 three-point field goals in the opening 20 minutes.
Walsh controlled the second half and led by as many as 21 points late in the contest.
STINGER NOTES:
- Maughmer has scored in twin figures in 47 consecutive contests.
- Cedarville finished 8-of-32 (.250) outside the arc - the second-lowest mark this season.
- The Jackets committed only five turnovers - the 19th time they've been in single digits.
- It was the only regular season meeting between the longtime rivals, who played one another for the 99th time.
- Walsh holds a 53-46 lead in the series which began in the 1965-66 campaign.
