CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Yellow Jackets wrapped up their G-MAC season series against Thomas More with another split on the home turf.
Cedarville took the opener, 6-3, with the Saints claiming the nightcap, 8-5. The two sides also split a twinbill on campus on March 26.
Starting pitcher
Connor Legere spun four hitless innings with four strikeouts in the seven-inning first game to get the win.
Max Doepker worked the final three innings to earn the save.
Kale Ebling went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored.
Lucas Rotello and
Kaden Wilde produced two hits, two RBIs, and one run scored apiece.
The Saints rallied for two runs in the eighth and three more in the ninth to win game two.
Cedarville, 9-26 overall and 5-13 G-MAC, managed just three hits - doubles from Ebling and
Seth Hale as well as a single by
Kaden Shook.
