Boston Torres assembled a big day at the plate to help the Yellow Jackets come away with a split of a G-MAC doubleheader at Trevecca.
Cedarville won the opener, 8-6, with TNU taking game two, 11-5.
Torres went 3-for-4 in the opener with a homer, four RBIs, and two runs scored.
He belted a two-run bomb in the first inning to get the scoring started in the seven-inning contest.
Eli Henderson and
Lucas Rotello added three hits apiece.
Seth Hale had two hits including a double and two RBIs.
Starting pitcher
Tate Marland, 2-6, struck out five batters in 4 2/3 innings.
Jordan Geiger allowed one hit the rest of the way with four K's to get his second save.
The Jackets scored three times in the fifth inning of the nightcap to break a scoreless duel.
However, the Trojans answered with eight runs in their half of the frame and tacked on three more in the sixth.
Torres recorded three more hits while
Kale Ebling totaled two hits and drove in three runs.
