EASTLAKE, Ohio -
Boston Torres hammered two grand slams and totaled 11 RBIs as Cedarville blasted Lake Erie, 21-11, to gain a split of their G-MAC twinbill.
The Storm took game one, 6-4, at Classic Park.
Torres went 4-for-4 in the contest with a walk and four runs scored. He drove in one run on a sacrifice fly and two others on a single.
The freshman first baseman capped off a five-run third inning with his first grand slam. His second bases loaded bomb finished off a seven-run seventh inning.
Eli Henderson totaled two hits, three runs, and three RBIs.
Kaden Wilde had two hits and three runs while
Kale Ebling added two hits, two runs, and two RBIs.
The contest was halted after seven innings by the ten-run mercy rule.
Cedarville managed just four singles in the first game and scored all four of their runs in the fourth inning.
Lucas Rotello drove in two runs with a base hit with RBI singles from
Max Doepker and
Seth Hale.
