Cedarville goes down twice in Bash at the Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Lynn and Barry both remained unbeaten by sweeping the Lady Jackets during the final day of the Bash at the Beach.

AVCA Division II No. 22 Lynn overpowered Cedarville in the first match of the day 25-15, 25-11, 25-12.

Madelyn Hensley and Cassi Shields had five kills each.

Kaley Matney totaled 20 assists and eight digs.

Barry, who is receiving votes in the latest national poll, claimed the final match 25-22, 25-16, 25-15.

Hensley had nine kills while Janae Heegaard added eight kills with four blocks.

Matney set up 27 assists and Greta Blakemore had a team-high 14 digs for the Lady Jackets, 3-3 overall.
