CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. -
Payton Fraley netted two goals to propel Cedarville to a decisive 4-0 result at Thomas More to begin the G-MAC slate.
The Lady Jackets, 2-2-1 overall, outshot previously unbeaten TMU 19-1 overall with a 11-0 bulge in shots on goal.
Fraley struck first in the ninth minute from
Seren Johnson and then made it 2-0 in the 24th from
Audrey Nelson.
CU enjoyed a 3-0 lead by halftime after rookie
Maddy McCort scored her first collegiate goal in the 31st minute.
Freshman
Shaylee Earnheart completed the scoring with her first collegiate goal in the 63rd minute with
Kacy Rosenthal assisting.
Brooke Ackley (71 minutes) and
Kaelan Swallow (19 minutes) combined for the team's first shutout of the season. Neither goalie needed to make a save.
