CU freshman Evania McCandless equalized in the 72nd with an assist from Emily Walton.

Ferris State regained the lead in the 87th setting up Fraley's heroics in the final minute.

The Jackets held the advantage in shots overall (20-8) as well as on goal (8-3). Brooke Ackley was credited with one save in goal.

It was the third meeting between the two schools with FSU leading the series, 2-0-1.

Quotable: Head Coach Jonathan Meade

"I'm proud of the team for battling today. We had to come from behind twice and that's not easy to do on the road against a solid team. It took our experience and our youth to do what we did today. As long as we stick together and work to improve each day, I think we have a lot to look forward to this year."
