Kentucky Wesleyan roughs up Jackets to continue streak

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Defending G-MAC regular season champion Kentucky Wesleyan clamped down on Cedarville, 84-57, at the Sportscenter.

The host Panthers, 9-2 overall and 3-0 G-MAC, never trailed in winning for the ninth consecutive time.

Sam Johnson and Anthony Ruffolo netted nine points each for the Yellow Jackets, 7-4 and 2-2 G-MAC.

Jaylen Davis and Ethan Sellars chipped in eight points apiece.

KWC shot 54 percent in the first half while taking a 47-32 lead into the intermission.

The hosts took command with a 12-2 start to the second period.
