Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Lady Jackets did what they had to do in singles to claim a 4-3 win over Grace at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex.
 
The home team took control early by winning two of the three doubles courts.
 
Diana Ivanikhina and Molly Filpus earned a 6-0 sweep at No. 2 doubles, and the duo of Mariana Philipps and Paula Curci Micieli cruised to a 6-0 win at No. 3.
 
In singles play, Cedarville picked up key victories from Ivanikhina, Philipps, and Grace Mahek to clinch the team win.
 
Ivanikhina posted a straight-set triumph at No. 1, 6-4, 6-3; Philipps dominated at No. 3 with a 6-0, 6-1 result; and Mahek sealed the match at No. 6 singles with a 6-2, 6-3 decision.
