OWENSBORO, Ky. — Cedarville dominated in style with a 5–0 victory over Kentucky Wesleyan.
The Lady Jackets exploded for four second-half goals to cap a dominant performance and improve to 10–2–4 overall and 8–1–3 in G-MAC play.
After an early own goal in the 9th minute, Cedarville controlled possession throughout, outshooting the Panthers 27–3 and recording 17 shots on goal.
Alli Graves opened the floodgates early in the second half with her third goal of the season off an assist from
Evania McCandless.
Seren Johnson followed with back-to-back goals in the 53rd and 56th minutes, assisted by McCandless and
Sophie Browndyke.
Alyssa Griner capped the scoring in the 66th minute with her second of the year, set up by
Kacy Rosenthal.
Goalkeepers
Anna Taylor and
Lila Painter combined for the shutout, facing only one shot on target. The Lady Jackets finished with an 11–1 edge in corner kicks and limited Kentucky Wesleyan to just three total shots.
