CEDARVILLE, Ohio - G-MAC contenders Cedarville and Northwood played to a 1-1 draw on a warm Homecoming Saturday afternoon at Yellow Jacket Field.
 
Cedarville (6-1-2, 4-0-1 G-MAC) dominated possession and outshot the Timberwolves 20-2, but had to settle for a single point in conference play after the guests struck first and held firm defensively.
 
Northwood capitalized on a loose ball in the box midway through the first half, finding the net in the 20th minute to take an early 1-0 lead.
 
Cedarville responded just 11 minutes later when Alli Graves connected from close range off a deep corner served in by Ella Webb in the 31st minute. The equalizer was Graves' first collegiate goal.
 
Goalkeepers Kaelan Swallow and Anna Taylor split time evenly in goal each playing a half for the Jackets, 6-1-2 overall and 4-0-1 G-MAC.

We talked about not giving them free chances and we gave them one in the first half and it cost us. It's good to at least come out of here with a tie.
