QUINCY, Ill. - Truman State came away with an 85-76 decision over Cedarville to close out the Midwest Region Crossover at Pepsi Arena.
 
Sam Johnson and Anthony Ruffolo scored 15 points apiece for the Yellow Jackets. 0-2.
 
Jaylen Davis tallied 11 points and Mikail Harmison came off the bench with nine.
 
Cedarville trailed 40–38 at halftime and it remained close until midway through the second period.
 
Will Gibson's three-point play tied the game, 54-54, at the 12:47 mark. The Bulldogs responded with a 12-2 spurt and CU got no closer than six coming down the stretch.

"The design of a Regional Crossover allows for very little prep time, with less than 24 hours between games. I felt our guys handled that challenge well and put ourselves in position to win, but we just couldn't get over the hump. We'll get back to work quickly to improve and get ready for a big week with two home games."
