ALLENDALE, Mich. – No. 8 seed Cedarville heads to No. 1 Grand Valley State for an opening round game in the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship.
 
Game time for the Midwest Regional contest is 3:00 p.m. EST with live video coverage on NCAA.COM and SIDEARM Stats.
 
The game follows the noon matchup between No. 5 Northwood and No. 4 Maryville.
 
The Lady Jackets enter the postseason 12-3-5 overall while GVSU is 19-2.
 
Cedarville's only home loss was the second game of the year when the Lakers rallied for a 3-2 victory on a pair of second half goals.
 
This will be the second time the two sides have met in the first round at GVSU. In 2021, CU scored first and the Lakers needed overtime for a 2-1 win which eventually propelled them to another national championship.
 
This is Grand Valley State's 22nd consecutive NCAA appearance. The Lakers own a record seven national titles to go along with 17 regional crowns.
 
The Lady Jackets are making their fifth appearance in the NCAA Division II Championship. They've advanced to the second round in each of their last two trips.
