ALLENDALE, Mich. – No. 8 Cedarville and No. 4 Maryville will get together for a second round date in the Midwest Regional today.
 
The NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship contest kicks off at 3:00 p.m. EST at Grand Valley State.

GLVC member Maryville got to this point by eliminating No. 5 and G-MAC member Northwood, 1-0, on a late goal.
 
The Lady Jackets, on the other hand, posted the biggest result in program history after drawing 2-2 with top seed Grand Valley State and eliminating the seven-time national champs on PK's, 4-3.
 
This is Cedarville's fifth NCAA appearance and third straight trip to the second round, but that's as far as the Jackets have ever gotten.
 
The two sides have played one time previously. The Saints came away with a 1-0 home victory on Sept. 7, 2023 on a goal in the 86th minute.
