Quotable: Head Coach Brett Faro
"I thought today was a really solid performance from the guys. Northern Michigan competes hard with a lot of energy. It was pretty back and forth in the first half and we just encouraged the guys at half to continue to stay the course and believe in each other. They showed really good resolve and were obviously excited to continue to have another chance to play together. RSU is a good team and we will do what we can to prepare on a tight turnaround."
Stinger Notes:
- Catanzarite, who leads the team in scoring, notched his first assist of the season.
- Dewhurst's ten shutouts ties the school record previously set by older brother Ethan Dewhurst (2013) and Carter Selvius (2019).
- Cedarville has advanced to the second round in all four trips to the NCAA Division II Championship.
- It was the first-ever meeting in men's soccer between the two schools.
- GLIAC champion Northern Michigan ends the season at 9-5-6.
