TFRRS RESULTS
KENOSHA, Wis. – The Yellow Jackets zipped up the men's cross country campaign with a 13th place showing in the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional.
Joey Carroll placed 48th out of 203 competitors with a time of 32:03.2 for the 10,000 meters at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course.
Joey Merrill (32:23.9) came in 65th and JJ Varner (32:30.7) was 72nd.
The rest of the lineup included
Jonathan Christopher (76th; 32:34.7),
Trevor Billingsley (81st; 32:38.1),
Nathan Garrett (128th; 33:40.3), and
Kolson Kytta (137th; 33:55.3).
Grand Valley State repeated as champion of the 29-team meet with Saginaw Valley State the runner-up and Lewis third.
The top three teams earn automatic bids to the NCAA Division II Championship which returns to Kenosha on Nov. 22.
