CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville shut down Otterbein during a windy non-conference match at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex.
The Yellow Jackets were 7-0 winners in conditions that featured wind gusts over 30 mph.
The hosts dropped just three games total in sweeping the doubles.
The pairings included:
Cedarville took all six singles contests. No. 4 Nogueira and No. 6
Barry King both rallied after losing the first set in their matches.
The top three in the lineup - DeHaven, Morrison, and Hougland - all won in straight sets. No. 5
Luke VanNieuwenhuyse picked up the remaining point in three sets.
The Yellow Jackets enter G-MAC play with an 8-9 overall record.
