CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville pushed across a run in the bottom of the seventh inning to beat Ashland and gain a split of a G-MAC doubleheader to begin the home slate.

Mackenzie Lashuay to give the Lady Jackets a 7-6 win in the second game.
The Eagles hung on for a 5-4 victory in the first contest.
Lashuay, Colley, and
Dana Croyts totaled two hits apiece in the win for the Lady Jackets, 9-18 overall and 4-2 G-MAC.
Colley had a double with two runs batted in. Croyts registered two RBI, two runs, and a stolen base while Lashuay scored twice.
Emma Wylie, 2-1, tossed a scoreless seventh inning and was credited with the win.
Emilie Fout and
Brynley Rung pounded their first career home runs in the opener, but it wasn't enough to overtake Ashland, who built a 5-0 lead through three innings.
Fout scored two runs with Lashuay and Croyts providing two hits apiece.
