ORLANDO, Fla. - Cedarville fell short to Ave Maria in the final spring break match at USTA National Campus.

The Yellow Jackets showed resilience in the second set of doubles with No. 2 Roberto Esquivel and Logan DeHaven securing a win.

Ave Maria ultimately claimed the doubles point.

In singles play, Cedarville came back with three points all in three-set matches.

Winners were No. 2 Nathan Hollis, 6-3, 4-6, 10-7; No. 3 Esquivel, 4-6, 6-4, 10-7; and No. 6 Pedro Nogueira, 6-4, 1-6, 10-6.

The Yellow Jackets return to campus at 7-9 overall.
