Lady Jackets bitten by two one-run setbacks in Spring Games

VIERA, Fla. - Goldey-Beacom and Jefferson pinned one-run defeats on Cedarville at the Space Coast Spring Games.

The Lightning zapped the Yellow Jackets 5-4 in the opener.

Cedarville took a 2-1 lead in the third inning on a two-run single by Camryn Taktak, but GBC recovered with a four-run fourth.

Caitlin Colley tripled in two runs in the seventh to account for the final.

Taktak and Ella Leonard recorded two hits apiece for the Jackets.

Jefferson took the second contest 2-1 with both teams collecting just four hits apiece.

Colley had two hits and singled home Stephanie Stubblefield for Cedarville's only run.
