Ohio Dominican takes G-MAC pair from host Lady Jackets

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Ohio Dominican ended Cedarville's five-game G-MAC winning streak by claiming both ends of a twinbill from the Lady Jackets.

The Panthers won by scores of 6-2 in nine innings and 4-1.

ODU pounded out 17 hits in the opener and broke the game open with a four-run ninth.

The Jackets had multiple opportunities to steal the contest despite coming up with just five singles.

Ella Leonard singled in one run and Emilie Fout drew a bases loaded walk to forge a 2-2 tie in the fifth inning.

In the second contest, Cedarville was held scoreless until two outs in the seventh inning when Mackenzie Lashuay singled home Anna Gardner, who had doubled.

The Jackets head into next week's eight-game road swing at 13-22 overall and 8-4 G-MAC.
