Hillsdale recovers to get two G-MAC W’s at Cedarville

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Hillsdale scored ten unanswered runs to rally and complete a G-MAC sweep over the host Lady Jackets.

The Chargers were 1-0 and 10-5 winners.

Hillsdale pushed across a run in the seventh inning to claim the first game.

Caitlin Colley doubled while Emma Bailey and Mackenzie Lashuay had singles.

Freshman pitcher Maya Merrill tossed a complete game allowing one earned run on three hits with three strikeouts.

In the second game, a five-run second inning staked CU to a 5-0 lead.

Lashuay had two of the team's nine hits, but it wasn't enough as the Jackets fell to 17-28 overall and 12-10 G-MAC.
