CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville outlasted Northwood, 11-10, to salvage a split of its G-MAC doubleheader on Senior Day.
The Timberwolves posted an 8-3 victory in the opener after which the Jackets honored seniors
Mackenzie Lashuay and
Emma Bailey.
In the second game, CU broke a 10-10 tie by scoring an unearned run on a two-out error in the sixth inning.
Dana Croyts went 3-for-4 with a triple, two RBI, two runs scored, and a stolen base.
Anna Gardner had two hits including a double and Lashuay added two hits.
Emma Wylie, 4-3, was the winning pitcher in relief with two strikeouts in two innings.
Northwood never trailed in the opener. Croyts, Gardner, and
Caitlin Colley registered two hits apiece.
The Lady Jackets head to the conference tournament after finishing the regular season 18-29 overall and 13-11 G-MAC.
