FLORENCE, Ky. - The Yellow Jackets and Thomas More split the remaining two games of their G-MAC series at Thomas More Stadium.
Cedarville rolled to a 7-2 win in the seven-inning first game while the Saints rallied for a 6-5 victory in the second contest.
Chris Montes de Oca stroke a season-high four hits and drove in two runs in the first game.
Caleb McKinion added two hits including a double and scored twice.
Kaden Wilde tripled and
Cooper Martin scored two runs.
Starting pitcher
Tate Marland, 3-2, tossed the first six-plus innings and
Wyatt Fisher came on to get the final three outs.
In the series wrap-up, CU scored three runs in the ninth to take a 5-4 lead, but Thomas More rallied with two runs in the bottom half to steal the result.
Montes de Oca tacked on three more hits. McKinion, Wilde, and
Eli Henderson had two hits each.
Danny DeMoss ripped a two-run triple for the Jackets, 20-26 overall and 13-15 G-MAC.
