CEDARVILLE, Ohio — The United Soccer Coaches Division II No. 15-ranked Yellow Jackets stymied No. 21 Lee, 2-0, in the first home game of the season.
After a scoreless first half, Cedarville broke through in the 60th minute when

Quotable: Head Coach Brett Faro
"It's always good to get a win in the opener at home. Lee is a good team. We've played them a couple years in a row now. They're organized and have good players so we knew it was going to be a tough battle. Our guys continue to be difficult to break down. We were able to play fairly deep and for each other which is very important to us."
Quotable: Amari Everage
"We knew what we were getting in to because they were ranked 21 vs. ranked 15 so it was going to be a tough match. We had to be prepared going into it. The guys did well and stuck together. We talked it out before the game. Each training session we just went after it and we were able to execute to get the job done."
