BUCKHANNON, W.Va. - The Yellow Jackets netted their first victory of the season with a 6-1 decision over Salem at West Virginia Wesleyan's Wood Street Tennis Courts.

Cedarville swept five of the six singles matches, highlighted by three straight-set victories.

Logan DeHaven led the charge with a 6-4, 6-0 win on the top court, while
Pedro Nogueira,
Alexander Rongos, and
Barry King each posted perfect 6-0, 6-0 results.

In doubles play, the Jackets claimed two of the three courts.
Roman Issayev teamed up with
Logan DeHaven to secure a 6-1 result at No. 1, while Rongos and
Xavier Gee breezed to a 6-0 win at the No. 3 position.Â

The Yellow Jackets are now 1-3 overall and continue non-conference play with their next match at Huntington on September 20.
