HUNTINGTON, Ind. — Cedarville came up short on the road, dropping a 7–0 decision to Huntington on Saturday afternoon at the Klopfenstein Courts.
The Yellow Jackets pushed the Foresters to a decisive third set at No. 4 singles, where
Pedro Nogueira earned the opening set before narrowly falling in a three-set battle.
Roberto Esquivel also challenged his opponent at the No. 2 spot before being edged in straight sets.
In doubles play, Esquivel and Nogueira extended their match to a tiebreak before Huntington secured the point. The Yellow Jackets fought throughout the lineup but could not break through against the undefeated Foresters.
