CEDARVILLE, Ohio — Cedarville made an early strike stand as the Lady Jackets earned a 1–0 victory over Thomas More in G-MAC play on Saturday afternoon at Yellow Jacket Field.
Evania McCandless scored in the eighth minute, finishing a pass from
Katie Ulmer with a high shot from eight yards out. The goal proved decisive as the Lady Jackets' defense and goalkeeper
Kaelan Swallow combined for the shutout.
Cedarville controlled much of the play, outshooting the Saints 12–3 and holding a commanding 10–0 advantage in corner kicks. Swallow needed just one save to secure the clean sheet, while the Lady Jackets recorded their second straight conference win.
