CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville absorbed a 4–3 men's tennis non-conference reversal at the hands of West Virginia State at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex.
The Yellow Jackets jumped out early by claiming all three doubles courts to take the opening point.
Penn Morrison and
Alexander Rongos clinched the top flight.
Logan DeHaven teamed with
Roman Issayev at No. 2 and
Paolo Estrada paired with
Drew Baumgartner at No. 3 to complete the sweep.
In singles action, Issayev earned a three-set victory at No. 3, and Rongos delivered another three-set win at No. 5.
Four of the six singles matches went to third set super tiebreakers with the two schools each winning two of them. Cedarville falls to 0-2.
