ASHLAND, Ohio – Ashland placed six players in double figures and rolled to a convincing 80-65 G-MAC victory over Cedarville at Kates Gymnasium.
It was the fifth win in the last six outings for the Eagles, who are 8-1 at home.
Ashland was on fire from the start in shooting 64 percent while heading to the halftime locker room with a 43-30 cushion.
The hosts were relentless during the second period pushing the difference out to as much as 26 points with five minutes left and finishing with a .604 field goal accuracy.
Anthony Ruffolo scored 12 points for the Yellow Jackets, 8-8 overall and 3-5 G-MAC, who dropped their third straight.
Jonathan Whiteside tallied 11 points and
Jaylen Davis came off the bench with 10.
