CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville positioned itself for a possible post-season berth with a 4-0 victory over Thomas More at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex.
The Yellow Jackets, 9-15 overall and 2-6 G-MAC, need a win at Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday to return to the G-MAC Tournament for the second straight year.
The hosts took the early lead in the match that was played to the point of decision with a pair of doubles wins.
Coming out on top were No. 1
Roberto Esquivel and
Logan DeHaven, and No. 3
Pedro Nogueira and
Penn Morrison.
Three singles wins, all in straight sets, by No. 1
Roman Issayev, No. 2 Esquivel, and No. 6 Morrison gave Cedarville the match.
