Allendale, Mich. – Cedarville suffered its first loss of the season with a 3-1 setback at #19 Grand Valley State on Saturday at the GVSU Soccer Field.
The Lakers scored twice in a span of just over two minutes midway through the first half before adding their final goal in the 40th minute to take a commanding lead into halftime.
The Lady Jackets responded with a much stronger second half, generating all eight of their shots after the break. Freshman Tori Aberle put Cedarville on the board in the 69th minute with her first collegiate goal off an assist from
Maddy McCort.
