CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Anna Taylor is the G-MAC and NCCAA Women's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week.

Taylor, a junior goalkeeper from Stanford, Ky., made three saves as Cedarville battled United Soccer Coaches Division II No. 7 Ashland to a 0-0 draw to help the Lady Jackets extend their school-record shutout streak to seven.

She leads the G-MAC and NCCAA with eight clean sheets plus her 0.35 goals against average tops the NCCAA and is second in the league.

The Lady Jackets have blanked the opposition in 17-of-18 halves this fall and the defense has not allowed a goal in 680 minutes.

CU hosts Walsh on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. EDT before welcoming Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday in the annual Homecoming match at 2:30.
