Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Harrison Martin is in his third season with the Yellow Jackets after transferring from Division I Youngstown State University.....red shirt in 2012 for the Penguins.....started the first 13 games at Cedarville as a sophomore before going to the sidelines with an injury for the second straight campaign.....batted .256 with four doubles, one home run, and nine RBI’s.....had two hits with three RBI’s in a 10-5 win over Saint Joseph’s (Ind.) in the season opener.....homered in a 7-4 victory against SJC and totaled six hits in the four-game series.....handled 38 chances at first base without an error.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2013 - Started the first seven games at third base for CU before suffering a season-ending injury in Florida.....batted .185 with two doubles, five RBI’s, and six walks.....named to the G-MAC Academic Team.

High School - Three-sport standout at Waverly High School.....four-year letter winner in baseball for the Tigers.....also earned four letters apiece in soccer and basketball.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a mechanical engineering major at Cedarville University.....born 9/17/92 in Cincinnati, Ohio.....son of Stephen and Tonya Martin.....has one younger sister.
