Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Brian Grant returns for his fourth season at Cedarville.....continues the Yellow Jackets’ long list of basketball players from the nation of Jamaica.....played in all 31 games as a junior with 19 starts.....averaged 7.5 points and 5.4 rebounds.....shot .536 from the field and tallied 36 blocked shots.....scored in double figures eight times.....netted a season-high 13 points in a 74-65 win at Chaminade.....recorded a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds in a 95-55 victory against Salem International.....Great Midwest Athletic Conference honorable mention.

2011-12 - Played in all 32 games as a sophomore with 31 starts in the post.....led the squad with a .603 accuracy from the field.....averaged 11.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.....scored in double figures 17 times and had one double-double.....netted a career-high 22 points with eight rebounds in a 74-59 win at Wilberforce.....totaled 17 points and 13 boards during a 74-66 decision over St. Edward’s at the Texas A&M International tournament.....voted to the All-Ohio Independent Championship Second Team.

2010-11 - Unquestionably the most improved player on the team as a freshman.....averaged team-highs of 16.9 points and 7.9 rebounds during the last eight games of the year.....finished with 31 appearances and 14 starts averaging 7.8 points and 4.3 rebounds.....voted to the All-American Mideast Conference Freshmen Team.....matched his season-high of 21 points and pulled down 11 boards in 71-69 AMC semifinal win over Roberts Wesleyan.....tallied 21 points and eight rebounds in 88-59 result at Mount Vernon Nazarene.....piled up 19 markers and 16 boards in a win over Wilberforce.

High School - Prepped at Jamaica College High School.....recognized as league MVP on the court.....three-sport athlete.
