Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Liz Sweeney returns for her fourth year with the Lady Jacket volleyball program.....will serve as a co-captain.....appeared in 29 matches and 70 sets last fall.....produced the squad’s second-best serving percentage with a .971 effort recording just six errors in 204 attempts.....tallied 18 kills and 46 digs.....season-high three kills at Central State.....twice registered a season-high five digs in a win over Cornerstone and an AMC victory versus Point Park.

2007 - Appeared in 11 matches and 20 games.....produced 32 kills and seven service aces.....tallied a .952 serving percentage on 62 attempts.....added 23 digs and an .875 passing percentage.....best match came in a four-game win over NCAA Division II Dallas - posting 14 kills, 10 digs and two service aces.....pounded 10 kills versus Central State.

2006 - Appeared in 21 matches and 37 games.....totalled 27 kills, 48 digs and five blocks.....recorded a season-high 13 digs against AMC South foe Urbana.....also hit for double figures in digs with 12 versus Rio Grande in AMC South Division action.....registered a season-high five kills against Urbana and Rio Grande.

High School - Two-year letter winner in volleyball at Worthington Christian High School....earned honorable mention all-district honors for her senior campaign.... Westerville Volleyball Club Team finished third in the state of Ohio in 2003....recorded 230 kills and 149 digs in 22 matches during the 2005 season.....also registered 22 blocks and 17 service aces.

Personal - Technical and professional communication major at Cedarville University....born 8/31/88 in Johnstown, PA....daughter of Matt and Lori Liston....older brother Mark played soccer at Capital University while older sister, Megan, participated in both soccer and track & field at Indiana Wesleyan University.....also has a younger sister.
