Biography
Chris Beals brings his long-range shooting touch back to the Yellow Jackets for a fourth season.....on track to become the 47th player in school history to reach 1,000 career points.....will finish among the top five all-time at CU for three-point field goals made.....has played in every game during his career and started all 31 contests as a junior.....scored in double figures 14 times.....averaged 9.1 points and came away with a team-high 32 steals.....matched his career-high with 22 points against Taylor in the championship game of the Cedarville Invitational and was named tournament MVP.....tallied 21 points in a win over Ohio Dominican and added 20 in a victory against Wittenberg.
2007-08 - Voted to the All-AMC South Division Third Team as a sophomore after averaging 12.3 points to rank second on the club.....started 30 of 31 games.....made 89 three-point field goals which is the third-highest single-season mark in school history.....scored in double figures 22 times.....poured in a career-high 22 points in an 82-80 win at Malone.....came back with 21 points in an 84-83 victory at Malone in the AMC Tournament title game.
2006-07 - Voted to the All-AMC South Division Freshmen Team.....played in all 31 games with one start.....averaged 8.8 points per game.....73-of-90 field goals came from outside the three-point arc.....scored in double figures 12 times.....made his collegiate debut by scoring 11 points in an 84-81 season-opening win at NAIA Division I No. 9 Lindsey Wilson.....netted 20 points in an AMC South win at Rio Grande.....also scored 20 at NCAA Division III No. 1 Wooster.
High School - Produced a record-setting career at Worthington Christian High School.....named to the Ohio Division IV All-State First Team as a senior after averaging 27 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.....shot 44 percent from beyond the three-point line.....four-year starter.....graduated as the Warriors' second all-time leading scorer with 1,622 points.....school’s all-time leader in career scoring average at 17.4 points per game.....set other school records for most three-point field goals made in a career (239) and most points scored in a season.....District Player of the Year.....MVP of Division III-IV North-South All-Star Game.....paced team to district championship during senior year.
