Biography
Derrick Hannon returns for his third and final season at the point for the Yellow Jackets.....played in all 35 games with 34 starts as a junior.....averaged 7.7 points and 4.1 assists per game.....totaled 144 assists which ranked 13th nationally in NAIA Division II.....hit game-winning lay-up in a 74-73 win at Notre Dame (Ohio) in the AMC Tournament championship game.....finished the contest with 10 points and nine assists.....tallied a career-high 17 points in a 75-69 victory against Taylor.....dished out a career-high 13 assists in CU’s record-setting 157-91 win at Rio Grande.....NCCAA Midwest Region and All-AMC honorable mention.
2008-09 - Appeared in all 31 games in his first season at Cedarville after transferring from Wittenberg.....tied for the team lead with 104 assists and ranked second in steals with 28.....scored 110 points including a season-high 14 in a 66-64 win over Rio Grande.....handed out a season-high seven assists in victories against Wittenberg and Houghton.....credited with six assists in five other games.
2007-08 - Played in 23 games as a freshman at Wittenberg, who finished 16-10 overall and 12-4 in the North Coast Athletic Conference.....scored 62 points and grabbed 44 rebounds.....ranked fourth on the squad with 32 assists.
High School - Three-year letter winner at Shawnee High School.....averaged 18.1 points and six assists per game as a senior while being named the Springfield News-Sun Player of the Year following the 2006-07 season.....averaged 16.4 points as a junior.....two-time All-Central Buckeye Conference First Team selection.....twice named to the All-Area First Team and to the All-District 9 First Team.....All-State Special Mention as a senior.
