Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Sarah Hartman returns for her final campaign with the Cedarville University women’s volleyball team.....one of just two seniors on the 2010 squad.....appeared in 35 of the 38 matches last fall.....produced a fifth-best 207 kills......second-best blocker on the roster with 18 block solos and 62 block assists.....registered a .200 attack percentage.....hit for double figures in kills on two separate occasions - career-high 12 in a five-set win at the University of Saint Francis and 11 kills in another five-set victory over Bethel IN......tallied a season-high six blocks versus Grace in the fourth contest of the year.....registered a career-high eight digs in a match at NCAA Division III Capital. 

2008 - Appeared in all 39 matches and in 151 of the 152 sets.....ranked second in solo blocks (41), block assists (69), total blocks (110) and block per set (.73).....produced a fifth best 200 kills and 1.32 kills per set.....hit for double figure kills in three matches including a career-high 11 against Davenport..... career-high of 11 blocks (5 solo/6 assists) came in a semifinal win over Mount Vernon Nazarene at the NCCAA national tournament.....recorded eight total blocks in an AMC match versus Walsh. 

2007 - Appeared in 13 matches and 38 games.....recorded 58 kills and 17 blocks.....registered a season-high eight kills in an AMC South Division win at Rio Grande.....posted seven kills in matches against Grace and Central State.....recorded a season-high five blocks versus Taylor at the Madonna Invitational. 

High School - Produced a two-sport career at Delaware Christian High School....four-year varsity volleyball starter.....team captured four consecutive MOCAL league and tournament championship titles.....squad claimed sectional championship while advancing to district finals during sophomore campaign.....two-time Team MVP honors.....earned All-Ohio honorable mention for senior season efforts.....named MOCAL Player of the Year and All-District First Team in 2006.....three-time member of MOCAL First Team squad.....All-District Second Team in junior year and All-District Honorable Mention as a sophomore.....four-year basketball letter winner.....holds school career scoring (1,120) and rebounding (1,036) records.....two-time All-Ohio Honorable Mention.....named All-District First Team for senior campaign.....earned All-District Second Team as a junior and honorable mention as sophomore.....All-County First Team as a senior.....two-time All-County Second Team selection in 2006 and 2005.....three-time Team MVP.....three-time MOCAL First Team honoree.....co-valedictorian.....OHSAA Scholar Athlete.....All-MOCAL Academic Team in 2005 and 2006.
 
Personal - Dean’s List student as a nursing major at Cedarville University.....born 6/3/88 in Denver, CO.....daughter of Clark and Karen Hartman.....older sister, Elizabeth, is a 2005 graduate of Cedarville, and younger brother, Andrew, is a junior student at CU and a member of the men’s soccer team.
