Aaron Smith comes to the Yellow Jackets from nearby Northeastern High School.....earned one letter playing baseball for the Jets.....named to the All-Ohio Heritage Conference first team as a senior.....recognized as a Miami Valley Baseball Coaches Association All-Star.....returned his senior year from surgery to post a 1.16 earned run average on the mound with 45 strikeouts in 36 1/3 innings.....also batted .456 with two homers and 26 RBI's.....graduated with academic honors.
