Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Michael Roe is back for his second year with the Yellow Jackets as one of the most versatile players on the club.....played in 39 games with 32 starts - 19 as a DH, four at first base, and nine on the mound.....batted .274 with nine doubles.....drove in two runs in a 5-3 win over Upper Iowa.....added two other RBI’s during a 7-1 decision against Malone.....recorded three two-hit games.....made 13 appearances on the mound with nine starts and five complete games.....posted a 6-2 mark with a 2.93 ERA.....struck out 45 batters in 61 1/3 innings.....tossed all nine innings and allowed one unearned run in a 1-1 tie versus Malone in the NCCAA National Tournament.....hurled a complete-game three-hitter in a 4-1 win at Point Park.....tallied a season-high six strikeouts against Miami-Middletown and Otterbein.....American Mideast Conference honorable mention.

2010 - Played his freshman season at NCAA Division II Northern Kentucky University.....part of team that posted a 43-17 record, won the Great Lakes Valley Conference North Division, and advanced to the Division II tournament.....appeared in four games on the mound for the Norse with one start.....posted a 3.60 ERA in five innings pitched with five strikeouts.

High School - Four-year letter winner in baseball at Middletown Madison Senior High School and Middletown Christian High School.....earned all-conference honors all four years.....struck out a school-record 19 batters in one game.....district pitcher of the year.....picked up four letters in golf.....district and league champion on the links.....played two seasons of soccer and one year of basketball.
