Bo Martino is in his second season as an assistant baseball coach at Cedarville University. He came to the Yellow Jackets from Northeast Texas Community College where he spent the fall, 2016 campaign.
Prior to coaching at NTCC, Martino was at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas. He served as the pitching coach for the YellowJackets where they struck out 219 batters in 296 innings pitched with a team ERA of 5.93.
Before serving at LeTourneau, Martino was a volunteer pitching coach at Division I Stephen F. Austin State in Texas for the 2014 and 2015 seasons.
One of his former players at SFA, Cameron Gann, was selected in the 27th round by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the June 2015 draft.
Earlier in his career, Martino served on the baseball coaching staff at his alma mater, East Texas Baptist as well as in the high school ranks for five years.
Martino was a four-year letter winner at ETBU and the Tigers reached the American Southwest Conference Tournament during his junior season.
A native of Marshall, Texas, Martino earned his bachelor’s degree from East Texas Baptist University in kinesiology and his master’s from Stephen F. Austin State University in human performance.
Bo and his wife, Natalie, reside in Xenia along with their son, Bauer Maddux, born April 3, 2018.
