Former Yellow Jacket Markus Neff joined the Cedarville University baseball coaching staff beginning with the 2020 season.
The Oakwood, Ohio product played for the Jackets from 2017 through 2019 after transferring from Edison State Community College. He played in 81 games with 80 starts as both a DH and first baseman.
Neff posted a .290 career batting average with 24 doubles, 10 home runs, and 59 RBI and 40 runs scored.
His best season was the 2017 campaign in which he hit .316 with 17 doubles, 6 homers and 40 RBI while being named to the All-G-MAC Second Team.
Neff played the first three games in 2018 before going down with a season-ending injury. He hit .245 his senior year with seven doubles, three home runs, and 16 RBI.
Neff was a Dean’s List student at the University graduating with a degree in sport business management.
