Rill Thompson has been a member of the Yellow Jacket baseball coaching staff since 2009 and works with the catchers.
Thompson has over 20 years of coaching baseball in the Springfield area. His Babe Ruth squad won three league titles during his six years as head coach. He also served as an assistant coach for four years at Cedarville High School.
A native of nearby Fairborn, Thompson earned an associates degree from ITT Tech in Dayton. He is presently the Textbook and Back Office Supervisor of the Cedarville University Bookstore.
Rill and his wife, Kim, reside in Springfield. They have four married children and 12 grandchildren.
